Gear Night

On the 21st of May, members of AMRT visited Out There Active Wear in Banchory.  Nicky, the owner, was hosting us for a chat with Gus, Haglofs UK representative.  Hot drinks and biscuits were of course provided.

Nicky is our contact to Haglofs, whom the team have purchased clothing from for the last few years.  Gus talked us through the new ranges of clothing available to us, with some extra focus on next year's winter range - including Gore-tex outerwear, insulation layers, fleeces, softshells and huge belay jackets.

It was a good opportunity for the team to get a feeling for the features available in the new garments, what combination of items would be best for us to have in our arsenal, and importantly how the garments are for size.

It's safe to say that some of the new kit looks absolutely bomb proof, which is important for us as our team clothing gets used, abused and tested to its limits!  Thanks to Nicky for hosting us and thanks to Gus for talking us through the range, features, materials and ethical approach that Haglofs clothing uses.
